Premium Masala Green Chai Tea-Organic,Loose leaf

A little goes a long way with this tea! It can be really strong. I used this loose leaf tea with my tea diffuser set and wow does it have flavor. I tried it first without any sweetener and milk to see what it was like on it's own, and goodness this isn't for weak tea drinkers! This is definitely a strong tea with a very authentic flavor.   I then tried it the way chai is meant to be. Sweet with milk. MMmmm. This was delicious. I was out of regular milk so I tried with soy milk (Lactose intolerant husband). Very good! Absolutely loved it.

I was having a really horrible day when I tried this tea. I wasn't feeling well. I just felt out of it. This tea was a wonderful pick me up. You know when you wake up on a cold morning and you have that first cup of perfect coffee and you hold it with both hands while savoring it's warmth? That is the feeling I got when drinking this chai.

Pure Rosewater by Joyal

I recently acquired some rose water serum to use and incorporated this rosewater toner into my daily facial routine. With the first day I could tell a definite difference! I am going to admit I am pretty new to developing a facial routine. After doing just a little bit of research I used a basic cleanser for my face, then the rose water toner, serum, then a moisturizer. You would think with all that my face would feel caked, but my face actually feels more fresh. I feel like I can breath. After the first day I loved the way my skin felt. I continued to do this regimen daily after a shower and I noticed my skin tone was becoming more even and my pores didn't look like swimming pools!

I'm very intrigued there is only one ingredient and that is indeed rose water. Though with it only being one ingredient I'm not exactly sure how it differs from the rest of the rose water products.

 I am African American with a dark skin tone, worked really well for my skin type. I did try spraying it in my hair,  but it really wasn't enough to moisturize.  I found some information reporting that rose water is safe for babies in children.  My baby boy  has a very dry scalp so I used some on his head for a few days and it works really well! I decided to use it on my daughter's hair (my children are biracial) and it worked really well with freshening and moisturizing her hair.  I would definitely recommend!

Bath Toy Organizer

I don't have tile, or a ceramic bathtub/shower and unfortunately it wouldn't stick on my bathroom walls so I got a bit creative and used It in my daughters room instead! She has an upper bunk bed and loves to read in bed so I hung it from the metal frame and put some of her favorite books and stuffed animals inside it for when she is up in her bed. She loved it! She also loved the cute bonus bath toys that came with it and quickly went off to play with them. I plan to re-purpose the hooks and hang them from the mirror in my room to keep some of my favorite scarves.

I have lots of ideas for how to use this. I could probably find a way to put it in the car to keep items nearby.

Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum

I've really never dabbled in too many facial creams and I haven't never really spent money on a real quality product. I usually just go to Walmart and get Ponds or some other cost effective brand but I realized I honestly didn't know what I was missing.

When I put this on I could immediately tell a difference. My skin felt softer almost immediately and the soft smooth feeling last me well into the night. I work night shift so I put it on before going to work despite the directions implying to put it on before bed. Looking in the mirror I feel like my face has a certain glow about it.

It comes in attractive packaging but honestly I'm not one to be impressed by packaging. I wanted to try it out. I was pleased to read in the directions you only need two pumps and I found that to be true. Only two pumps spread easily over my face and neck. I applied after washing my face in the shower. I found the light scent of roses absolutely refreshing.

What the bottle looks like doesn't really matter to me, how this feels on my face does, and it feels wonderful. It sounds silly, but I look forward to putting this on before work, and I find myself touching my face throughout the day to feel the softness. Really love this!

Full disclosure. I love computers, loving working with them, playing on them, socializing on them, but if you ask me to build one, or suggest to you what specifications you need to run the latest game I wouldn't know. I could tell you how to find out but I would be clueless. So if you are looking for specs check it out on Amazon.

My reason for buying this computer was for doing schoolwork and internet browsing. This probably wouldn't  be the greatest for gaming but for me this was perfect.  I was looking for something light so it would be easy to carry around and not cumbersome to hold.  I am using it currently to write this review.

Aesthetically it is very pleasing. It looks a lot better in person than it does on the amazon website. I've had no issues connecting to Wi-Fi.

I love the option to use it as a tablet.

I love this little guy. Easy to carry around with me. I took it on a trip with me to Milwaukee recently, I didn't have any problems with the battery. Kept a charge for a rather long time. Seems sturdy too as I accidentally stepped on it and it suffered to ill effects. 

Marco Raffine Premier Colored Pencils

I am just getting started into adult coloring books. After having a baby, going to school, working full time, this is a nice relaxing hobby that helps me wind down. It's easy to pick up and put down again if needed. 

I like to use hard pressure when coloring, and I was immediately surprised with how rich the colors came out. I was coloring on some pretty standard paper but it took the color very well. I did experiment with trying lighter pressures and it was easy to add some sort of depth.  Even though there were only 36 pencils I found myself with multiple shade options.

Aesthetically these pencils are very pretty.

I enjoyed coloring with these pencils, they were comfortable to hold, didn't roll away. The colors were very rich and eye catching. I felt like I had a tremendous amount of options when I was working on my adult coloring page.

I had previous reviewed a set of loop exercise bands and thought they were pretty good, but these go a step further. They are wider and thicker so they don't feel as uncomfortable to hold. They also feel stronger. There is no fear that these will snap at any moment. After heavy use the sides don’t curl up and stick to each other. I didn’t realize what I was missing with my previous loop bands until I used these. 

The bands come in a draw string bag that is portable and easy to carry. Aesthetically these bands are very pleasing to the eye. One even comes in purple which is my favorite color. Unlike the previous bands I have used these bands don’t have an overpowering smell of rubber, they actually smell more like balloons. The scent does linger a bit on your hands but not very overpowering. Simply wash and be done with it.

The bands come with a paper insert that has a link to download directions for exercise in the form of a PDF. The guide is full color with use of real photos (not drawn images) of people using the actual bands.

Zipper Card Holder by Lecxci

I was just looking for a small card holder to keep in my purse. I didn't want it to be too big, but I needed it big enough to hold a large amount of cards. I didn't need another smartphone accessory, just something to hold my cards and perhaps something that didn't look too masculine. This worked out very well! Very cute. So far there are 14 cards inside and there is still space to put more. It also has two outside pockets which I plan to use for my ID and another for the card I use most often. I feel my cards are secure, and the product seems very well made.

Apple Slicer Corer by Wrenwane

I didn't realize I needed this in my kitchen until I had it. I've been trying to eat healthy and apples are a must. They help curb my appetite and help me feel satisfied. They are also a quick go to snack. Pair with a little cheese or peanut butter and well I love apples. The corer didn't come with instructions but it seemed pretty self explanatory.  Position over apple and push down. When I first tried it I was expecting it to be incredibly hard to push down but it was rather easy. The apple slices spread out as you push and it is actually quite satisfying.

The fun of having a doorbell without the difficult installation

Great example of how recent technology can update seemingly mundane things, making it simpler and cheaper for many more people to use.

This was very easy to use and a snap to install. It pretty much works right out of the box and comes already with a battery.  No wiring involved at all! My daughter was so excited to come home and see we had a doorbell. We had a great time going through the settings to see what options we had for the tone. If you feel so inclined you can have familiar children's songs or even Christmas music. I was delighted to hear Greensleeves! You can also change the volume making it extremely loud for those who may be hard of hearing, we had to turn it down a bit as it was too loud but that would have been perfect for my mother in law who doesn't hear very well. One could also turn the indicator lights on the receiver for added assistance.

Tungsten Metal 2MM Plain Dome Wedding Band Ring

My original wedding ring was stolen several years ago and I never bought a replacement. Until now I just went without. Honestly I wasn't interested in spending thousands on another ring. I'm also a nurse so I didn't want anything that could catch, come off in gloves or generally be a nuisance. I wanted something simple yet attractive. This ring was perfect!

I've worn this Tungsten ring by accident in the shower and washing dishes. It still looks like it did the day it was delivered.  I am really enjoying my ring and I feel confident it will last for years to come.

Interesting trivia fact another name for Tungsten is Wolfram. How cool is that?

Dream Star Girls' Love French Terry Pullover

This is a very stylish shirt. I bought this for my 7 year old daughter. I did buy it a size too big as she is growing, and I wanted it to last awhile. It fit loose on her but not inappropriately so. Very pleased with it.

The shirt appears as advertised and the colors are beautiful. The material is a lot stronger than I expected and seemed very high quality. My daughter really loved the shirt. She usually doesn't get excited about clothes but she really enjoyed showing this one off at school.

Deluxe Bluetooth Digital Weight and BMI Smart Scale by Easy@Home

This scale is very sleek stylish and will look nice in just about any bathroom décor. It came with batteries which is a really nice touch so it literally works right out of the box! If you don't want to use the Bluetooth features you don't have to and will otherwise work as any normal bathroom scale. That said, using the Bluetooth feature is SUPER easy. I downloaded the app from Google play. You don't have to go into your phone settings and turn it Bluetooth on, the app asks for permission to do it for you.  This was a pleasant surprise as I imagined how annoying it would be to have to fiddle with my phone each time I wanted to check my weight. All I had to do was open the app and stand on the scale.

The app itself is aesthetically pleasing, doesn't look clunky. It is a simple app, not a lot of bells and whistles, but it does what it says it does. I access the app from my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and did not have any issues with crashing .

I checked the accuracy of the scale by comparing it to another scale. There was only < 2 lb difference which I find to be acceptable. It is very common to have slightly different weights from scale to scale.

Abstract Flowers (Coloring For Adults)

Not to judge a book by it's cover, but one can immediately see this adult coloring book is different than those appearing mass market in the stores. The lines aren't as clean, and the objects aren't as symmetrical yet there is intricate detail. Very intricate detail. It appears the author of this book poured her energy and love into this project and personally hand drew each page. What the coloring book lacks in cleanness it makes up with variety and whimsy. Going through the makes me recall the simplicity of childhood times.





As you go through the book some of the artwork does appear rushed. There are some pages that would have better been left out of the book, Especially the ones where a large amount of space is taken up by black ink, leaving less to be colored.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I think this would be a good beginner book for those interested in adult coloring. Perfect for testing out shading, and the quality of colored pencils. Also good for handing off to younger children who want to do what mommy and daddy are doing and suddenly aren't impressed by their Disney Princess coloring books. I do not however think this will please the die-hard fans who are accustom to a better quality yet sterile artwork. My husband liked the paper quality and enjoyed how the colors appeared on the page.

Resistance Loop Band Set byFitFactory

I love doing stretch band exercises, I am more accustomed to the tube-like exercise bands with handles so using these was a new experience. Immediately I enjoyed how light weight they were. They fit easily into  the small bag provided and can be thrown in a purse or tote-bag without taking up much room.  They are also pretty attractive, very pleasing to the eye and labelled well.

Bands worked great for arm exercises and mimicking dumb bell curls, and triceps extensions.

I did put these resistance bands to the test having my friends use them along with me. They were concerned and felt they would break. I had a bit more faith though and attempted to do the exercises provided in the free PDF book. Unfortunately the lightest resistance band did develop and hole and eventually tore entirely. despite this the band can actually still be used.

There was also a complaint of a strong rubbery order, but I expected that as it is made of 100% latex. I washed my hands and the odor did not persist. Also complaints of the bands being uncomfortable to use and reported pain when it was stretched against the palm. I think this could be offset with workout gloves.

The PDF book itself uses clipart to demonstrate the exercises and is rather unattractive. These bands also do not seem large enough to do all the exercises in the book.  I found more informative videos on Youtube, In fact it might be better and a little easier if the seller simply posted  a short Youtube video of example exercises to do with these resistance bands.

I liked the bands but I am very disappointed that one of them is broken. It still has some functionality, but I am concerned now the other bands might break as well. I think this bands would be best for the casual or beginner user using to supplement a low impact routine.

This is a really interesting innovative device. I had not really heard of anything like this before but the concept is so simple it’s genus!  A smartbulb?!  What will they think of next! The future is NOW people!
Okay then, on with the review! The music speaker and color changing LED light uses an electric lamp as a power source making it very versatile. Fits any standard lamp socket. It was very easy to install and for my family it has a lot of fun and  practical uses.

I used this in my baby’s room turning the light a soft blue worked really well as a peaceful nightlight. Not only can you change the color but you can change the degree of brightness.I used an old phone I had and connected it to my existing Wi-Fi to use Google services to play soft lullaby songs.  WORKED like a dream.

I’ll be honest though, the first thing I did was play a little prank on my seven year old daughter. She was not expecting our boring old lamp to turn red, blue, then green! She absolutely loved it. I am thinking about getting a bulb like this for her room, it would double as the main light and a night light she could easily control.

I think it would be nice to have one in my room as well. I wouldn’t have to get out of bed to turn the light off! My husband and I always race to the bed, because the last one has to turn out the lights this way we can be snuggled together and then simply turn the light out with small tap of the phone.  Perfect for those winter nights!
My only issues were with the app/ It’s not available on Google play and I had to get it from an unknown source. The App was free however.  The app itself looks a bit rough, not really aesthetically pleasing, and seems quite limited compared to similar apps for other smartbulb brands.  It would be nice if you could use any similar app to control the device, but I have no idea how that would work.

I got the multi colored teether necklace with five silicon beads.

People just have so many cute ideas. I love the idea of a teether that can’t be tossed to the floor while also doubling as a fashion accessory! Truth be told my little one is only 4 months old but he loves grabbing at it, and I can tell he is stimulated by the different colors and textures. The cord is a strong material and is rather large hanging low so it is easily in reach of those cute chubby baby fingers.
The silicone beads seem rather durable and are held securely onto the necklace the only thing that makes me nervous is if these beads some how became detached they are small enough to easily be swallowed, but as this teether would only be used in my supervision (me wearing it) I don’t think that would ever be an issue. That said this teether should only be used if it is worn by an adult. Never leave this in your baby’s crib or play area as it presents a major choking/strangulation hazard.
